Riddles or offers?

Is this a riddle or an offer? I’m still not sure I’ve worked this out… It’s amazing how many sales you can lose if people don’t understand your offer.

    You know, I always assumed it was supposed to be confusing. So that people think “60% off the ticketed price” then if they protest (and how many people actually check their dockets anyway?) it can be pointed out and they look silly. Maybe I’m just a cynic?

    You could be on to something here…it hadn’t crossed my mind but then, maybe you are not cynical, maybe I’m a little naive:)
